Information We Process

TamilRockers+ stores diary entries, ratings, quiz progress, achievements, recent searches, AI chat consent, and visible AI chat history locally on your device. The app does not require an account, subscription, in-app purchase, Firebase account, analytics profile, or social login.

The app uses TMDB to retrieve movie and TV catalog information such as titles, posters, overviews, ratings, and release dates. Requests to TMDB may include the search text you enter.

AI Chat Data Sharing

AI Chat is optional and is blocked until you explicitly agree to share chat data. Before any AI chat network request is made, the app explains the data fields, recipient, and purpose.

When you agree and use AI Chat, TamilRockers+ sends message text, chat_id, and the fixed system_prompt about movies and TV to OpenRouter Chat proxy, a third-party AI chat service hosted on Railway at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app. The only purpose is to generate movie/TV chat responses and recommendations.

OpenRouter Chat proxy acts as a third-party processor/service provider for this feature. It is expected to protect submitted data under the same or equivalent confidentiality and security commitments described in this Privacy Policy.

The AI chat service may retain conversation history server-side using chat_id for conversation continuity. You can revoke AI chat data sharing in Settings. Revocation resets the local chat session and blocks future AI chat requests until you agree again.

Third-Party Services

TamilRockers+ uses TMDB for catalog data and the OpenRouter Chat proxy hosted on Railway for optional AI chat responses. These services process only the data required for their respective features.

Data Retention and Controls

Local diary, achievement, quiz, search, and visible AI chat data remain on your device unless you delete or reset them. You can revoke AI chat data sharing in Settings. You can stop all app data processing by uninstalling the app.

Children

TamilRockers+ is not intended to knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information processed by the app and by service providers acting on our behalf.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated policy.
